First- What is Infrared Therapy?

Infrared therapy is a type of treatment that uses infrared light to promote healing in the body. Infrared light is not a form of the visible light spectrum, but we feel it as heat because the energy emitted from infrared light stimulates the water in our bodies to generate energy, which is what you feel as warmth.

Infrared therapy uses light colors including red light to create heat. Traditional therapy heats up the air whereas infrared therapy heats your body directly without warming the air around you. Our therapy combines the beneficial infrared rays with the therapeutic beauty of visible color light in every session. By eliminating the sun’s troublesome, harmful UV rays we provide a safe, restorative sweat session that will leave you rejuvenated.

Next- What are the Benefits of Infrared Therapy?

Infrared Therapy offers a unique, transformative experience that can help you achieve a higher level of overall health and well-being. The safe, comfortable heat can provide you with a plethora of incredible benefits and the ultimate wellness boost because "in here, out there doesn't matter."

  • Detoxification

  • Stress & Fatigue Reduction

  • Muscle Aches, Stiffness & Joint Pain

  • Weight Loss & Increased Metabolism

  • Skin Condition

  • Appearance of Cellulite

  • Heart Health

  • Immune System Boost

  • Diabetes Support

Finally- What Should I Expect?

This is a wellness experience where the results are cumulative. This means the more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like working out or dieting, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to manifest.

You may notice that it takes 10-20 minutes to break a sweat in your first session. This is because our therapy is heating your body directly, passively raising your core temperature 2-3 degrees, rather than simply heating your skin with hot air. This is a defining difference between infrared and traditional therapy. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start sooner into your session.

When you finish your sauna session, you will continue to perspire as your body naturally cools down

Your body just flushed out a lot of toxins. Be sure to replenish and rehydrate— good choices are alkaline and coconut water as well as other nutrient dense beverages.
